I am an obsessive-compulsive list maker. I make a to-do list in my notebook (yes, paper!) every morning and get a little high from crossing things off my list. I also make lists for everything else in my life: story ideas, new magazines to pitch to, new business ideas, gifts purchased, recipes I want to make … You get the idea.
So I was ridiculously happy when I saw these mugs at the cafe in Barnes & Noble today:
Depending on which of the three mugs you buy, you can jot down your list of honey-do chores, books to read, or things to do on the mug. The mugs are $9.99 each and come with a pen that writes on the mug.
I’m seriously tempted to buy one, though it might be a bit much (even for me) to make my list on the same cup that I drink my four cups of tea from every day. Plus, how does a compulsive list maker and reader decide which mug to get? “Books to read”? The “to do list”?
I feel a list coming on …
